A real treasure, this Rolex ‘Oyster Precision’, believe it or not its dated to 1962 by the serial number and more hard to believe is that it comes presented with its original, Warranty Rolex Papers and even the Swing Tag! Staggering to think its lasted over 60 years as a full set. Furthermore the watch in questions has had a full service and refurbishment. In fine working order there are very few signs of this watches true age other than maybe the dial.
The dial is a silvered coloured with pointed silver hour markers, classic Rolex Emblem to ’12’ and with silver hands that show some patina along with the sweeping blue second hand. Some staining on the dial in particular from the centre to the ‘3’ that we have chosen to leave in place.
34mm stainless steel case with steel engine turned bezel and steel Rolex crown. Fitted to a Rolex stretched rivet style bracelet with a double fold clasp of the same era.
Manual Winding and operating from a 1225 calibre, Due to the watches age we would not provide a guarantee on this watch being waterproof.
